The Oregon Contractors Workers' Compensation Trust

Minimize

The Oregon Contractors Workers' Compensation Trust, frequently referred to as "The Trust" by members, received its certificate of authority from the State of Oregon and began operations in 1997. It had been a viable option for obtaining workers' compensation coverage for building and remodeling contractors, landscapers, nurseries and their suppliers as a self-insured group under Oregon regulations. The Trust surrendered its certificate of consent as a self-insured group at the end of 2010.

The Trust voluntarily petitioned for bankruptcy under Chapter 11 of Title 11, United States Code on January 3, 2011 after its Board of Directors reviewed the options to terminate the Trust’s on-going operations. Bickmore Risk Services (BRS) serves in an administrative role to the Trust as operations are being “wound down."
  • For any questions you may have, please call BRS at (800) 260-6150 or (503) 419-0450. You may also contact BRS to obtain past coverage or loss history information by completing the form  here.
